Theatre Guild of Simsbury - 5:30-6:15PM in Auditorium - The Theatre Guild of Simsbury will be performing songs from Broadway for your listening pleasure!

Jon England - 4:30-5:15PM, 6:30-7:15PM in Auditorium – From England, yet fresh to Simsbury - this Olde Worlde citizen brings a whole new meaning to "Piano MANia"! Dazzling dexterity, outrageous outfits and a flabbergasting sense of piano-related musical fun. A "must see" Christmas-oriented spectacular with sing-and-dance-along favorites from Jon England, the "Velvet Piano" showman.

 

Simsbury Camera Club - 4:00-7:00 in Lower Level Youth Room - Demonstrations, information and exhibits.

 

SCTV Holiday Greetings - 4:30-7:15PM at SCTV (enter through Youth Room) - Your family can tape a holiday greeting to be aired on SCTV throughout the month of December. DVD copies will be available for a $5 donation. You can make an appointment starting to 2 weeks after Thanksgiving.

Pictures With Santa - 4:00-7:00PM - Have your child's picture taken with the real Santa Claus! $5 per photo taken by photographer Curt Henderson. Photos will be mailed to your home about 1 week after event.  No personal photographs permitted.  PLEASE NOTE:  The picture line will be cut off at about 6:30PM so that Santa can see those children who waited in line before he has to leave for the evening.  We do not want anyone to wait in line and not get to see Santa and miss out on other fun events happening outside! Please note that this year the line for Santa will be forming outside the bank, and only 2 families will be allowed into the bank at a time.

 

Ski Sundown Rail Jam - 4:30-7:15PM - on the Front Lawn of the Bank of Amercia.
Watch the skill and tricks of Ski Sundown snowboarders as they perform their high flying maneuvers.

Pirate School! - 4:30-5:15PM, 5:30-6:15PM, 6:00-6:30PM, 6:30-7:15PM - In the Library Program Room. Pirate School! combines active, full-audience participation with real magic, original music, bubble-play, eye-popping puppetry, eccentric props and slapstick antics. During the show kids learn how to be "good pirates" - cooperating and carousing together and along the way become more responsible, bold, curious Corsairs.

8 Nights of Fun all Rolled Into One - 5:30-7:00 PM - In the Children's Discovery Room - Join Mandell JCC Farmington Valley to learn more about Chanukah - The Jewish Festival of Lights. Kids of all ages can make an edible dreidel, decorate a Chanukah card for Jewish soldiers serving in the US Armed Forces, make a menorah magnet and more!

Amazement and amusement for ages 5 to 95!

Hip Hop - ACROfitness Style - 5:45-6:15PM - ACROfitness' finest students and instructor Brandon Coulote will demonstrate the unique combination of dance, fitness and street tumbling that is Hip Hop!

Handler and Levesque Guitar Duo- 4:30-5:15PM, 6:30-7:15PM - Enjoy an energetic and entertaining program of music from around the world for guitars and mandolin. Handler and Levesque blend Brazilian, Latin, gypsy, Jazz, classical and folk music influences to create their lyrical and expressive arrangements.

Women's Praise Choir - 5:30-6:15PM - A close harmony group who will perform everything from gospel to pop to classical and everything in between.  A real treat!
